3. CULTURAL MEMORY
- What do people remember?
- Myths and legends?
- Holidays and commemorations?

4. THEMATIC ROOTS
- How does history embody theme?
- Patterns across time?
- Lessons learned or ignored?

5. ICEBERG APPROACH
- What is visible in the story?
- What is implied?
- What stays beneath surface?

Provide relevant history with notes on how each element serves the current story. Do not over-build what will never be used.
