- What did they lose that cannot be recovered?
- Who or what failed them?

2. THE LOGIC CHAIN
- How did wound lead to philosophy?
- What distorted truth do they embrace?
- Why does evil make sense to them?

3. THE ROAD NOT TAKEN
- Where could they have chosen differently?
- What small thing might have saved them?
- How close are they to the hero?

4. REMNANTS OF GOOD
- What humanity remains?
- What do they still love or protect?
- Where is redemption possible?

5. THE FINAL PUSH
- What pushed them past the point of no return?
- When did they stop fighting themselves?

Write their origin as a three-paragraph tragic story, then as a scene from their perspective where their worldview makes perfect sense.
