- What prevents them from getting it?
- Are they actively fighting the obstacle?

4. MOTIVATION CONTINUITY
- Does motivation connect to previous scene?
- Does it lead naturally to next scene?

5. FLAGS
- Lines that lack motivation
- Actions that seem unmotivated
- Moments where character acts for plot not character

6. REPAIRS
- For each flag, provide motivated alternative
- What adjustment makes the action feel inevitable?

7. REVISED SCENE
- Rewrite with motivation clarified/strengthened
- Every beat should feel motivated
